What happens when I first attend?
You may have been referred to us by your solicitor or another service professional,
or you may have contacted us in person to arrange an appointment.
In the first instance we will book a pre-mediation appointment with one of our mediators. The mediator will use this time to find out more from you about the current situation and the issues you need to resolve. The mediator will also talk in more detail about how mediation works.
The first meeting can be for you on your own, or for both of you together. If we see you together for this first meeting, we will still spend a few minutes with you separately in order to check out any concerns you may have.
We will only proceed to mediation when you have both had the opportunity to attend a pre-mediation meeting.
