Birmingham District Family Mediation is an approved provider of the Separated Parents Information Programme (PIP). This is a Cafcass supported programme available to parents who are going through court proceedings and must have been ordered or directed by the Court. Referral can be made by parents themselves, solicitors, Cafcass officers or the Court but must be accompanied by a copy of the Order or official letter from the Court.
The Programme is offered at our Birmingham offices as a full day with a start time of 10.00am and finish time of 3.00pm. Parents attend separate Programmes to each other, group sizes are generally between 4 and 8 and as far as possible will be a mixed group of mums and dads. It is possible to offer the Programme on a one to one basis by special arrangement where content can be tailored to individual need.
